Sketchbook - Near Schlesisches Tor U-Bahn

I spent this afternoon sitting by Schlesiches Tor u-bahn/subway station sketching. I am dead happy because this picture represents progress to me. Straight in with pen (no pencil) again and loving it.

This area in Berlin is completely bonkers. It must be one of the most multicultural and liberal places in the world. When I was drawing this I had comments from all types of extreme characters including but not limited to: homeless guy, painfully hip American hipster, eccentric strange old local (lots of these), Turkish youth, drunk punk, afershaved soaked Wessi German lads, African guy, smiling cute little girl. All of them friendly and nice.
