Oil - My colleague's dog

I have a pretty crippling perfectionist streak. Fear of failure often stops me from starting or trying something. Oils are helping me to overcome that stupid attitude, to persevere and work with some form of determination. It's pretty fab. An example would be, this painting was pretty dead on one or two occasions - in the past my attitude would have been to let it rot, but now with oils I am finding it easier to go back in and try to resuscitate it.

I am also just feeling really compelled to paint. I feel like I have some really good paintings in me if I can just practice some more (but eating, sleeping, working, pooing, etc, get in the way).
