Description
The US gives the Egyptian military $1.3bn of aid each year. That becomes even more noteworthy when the army overthrow a democratically elected government. That and Obama's kind of lack of policy/action made me paint the above picture.
My thoughts are with all the innocent people of Egypt.
As for my personal thoughts on my picture, I know it's not that original or pointed but I am happy with it for another reason: this is the third version. In total I spent about 10 hours arriving at this, believe it or not. The first two versions were total pants but I was determined to finish with something decent - and so I tried and tried again, ultimately I am really pleased that I persevered until I had something that I was happy with. In the past I have normally thrown my brush in and given up when the going gets tough.
I could do this one more time and perhaps I'd come up with something I'm really happy with - but I'll give myself a break and start another new one (yay), this is all just sketchbook stuff for fun after all.

I know it's sad, but you have to remember that President Obama has to deal with this while being hounded by the GOP (for doing ANYTHING that helps REGULAR people) and the Tea Party (who are trying to get rid of government here) I equally sympathize with the people of Egypt, but stop thinking that Obama can fix all wars. He just (barely) saved us from the last one we had.
