I'm scared of heights. When I was younger I'd climb anything without a thought or a care (much to the alarm of my poor mum and dad.) Then through my teens I developed vertigo which is passing now, but that didn't make dangling my camera over a 100 foot drop any easier. When I took this my legs were total jelly, that's why it didn't turn out as well as I liked - I wasn't prepared to hang around. I had to treat the colours in Fireworks to lessen the impact of my flash.

Anyway, this is the windy staircase inside L'Arc de Triomphe.

Oh, and the eagle eyed amongst you will have spotted =mascaraxglass' shoe in the top left. Way to go Jess. Honestly, she's so attention hungry that girl.
