This little guy lives in the butterfly house at London Zoo. I'd recommend a visit. From the outside it looks like a kind of inflatable bouncy castle thing, but once you've passed through a couple of plastic and bead curtains you find yourself transported to the tropics! I've been to places like this before. The first thing that struck me when I walked in was the humidity and all the foliage, but then I suddenly realised there were scores of flamboyantly adorned butterflies dive-bombing into my head. They maybe pretty, but they fly like they're completely smacked out on heroin.

One of them flew directly into my nose shortly after this was taken.

Anyway look at this ones eyes. I mean they're fascinating but they're not exactly pretty. It needs some sunglasses. If you stripped them of their wings they'd be as ugly as Ann Widdicombe with a hangover.
